LESSON 351
A DECADE OF GLORY TO GODACTS. 5:1-11

INTRODUCTION:
Members of this church should look back and see what the Almighty God has done in the last decade; in which our father in the Lord resumes office. Today we are going to praise and worship Him. May the Lord bless us, as we give Him the glory He deserves. Amen.

1. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST
God has given us victory over our Philistines, therefore we should give Him the glory with the fruits of our lips: I Samuel 7:10-12; Heb. 13:1; Matt. 15:18; Joshua 7:22-24; Acts 2:21-23; Isaiah 48:11; I Cor. 10:31; Ps. 95:6, kneeling down before our maker.

Further Readings: Psalm 48:1-2; Exo. 15:2

LESSON 352
JOSEPH: STUDY ABOUT DIVIINE RIGHTEOUSNESS – PART 1

INTRODUCTION:
Can we rely on God? Is it true that He is righteous? He is faithful today as before? These are the little questions that we hope to answer as we study about the life of Joseph. May the Lord bless us as we study in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. GOD IS FAITHFUL AT ALL TIMES
The story of Joseph resembles the story of our Lord Jesus Christ Gen. 37:1-18; Gen. 44:14; Deut. 7:9; Rev. 19:11; I Kings 8:56; Ps. 89:1; Ps. 105:8; II Tes. 3:3; I Pet. 4:19; I Cor. 1:9; Heb. 6:18; Heb. 6;11-12; II Tim. 2:13; Heb. 2:17; Heb. 10:23.
In so many ways, he is the beloved of his father, he was hated and forsaken by his brothers, they lied against him and so on. But more than everything his story shows that God is faithful to everyone that is faithful to him till the end.

Further Readings: Rev. 19:11.

LESSON 353
JOSEPH: STUDY ABOUT DIVIINE RIGHTEOUSNESS – 2( B).
GEN 37:5-13

INTRODUCTION:
SHARE TO BLESS NOT TO BOAST
The dreams of Joseph showed that the blessings that his father Jacob received from Isaac are being transferred to him Gen. 37:5-11; Gen. 27:22-29; I Cor. 10:23-24; Rom. 15:1-3; Rom. 14:19; I Cor. 3:9; I Cor. 13:12. Joseph was definitely in touch with God but he was insensitive to his family. He was self-centered. We must be careful in our sharing: we must share to bless and not to boast. Even sharing must be done in love.

Further Readings: Phil. 2:4-5.

LESSON 354

1. UNBELIEVER WORKS ARE KEPT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS
When the Israelites got to the land of Egypt God gave them the best land there Phil. 4:19. This is because, it is God who has everything, and it looks like it is in charge of sinners known. It shall be return to the righteous one day. What was true in Israel of those days is still truth in Israel of nowadays in God. Gen. 47:1-12; Gen. 24:1; Prov. 13:22; Isa. 61:6; Isa. 45:3; Pro. 10:3; Pro. 11:28; Prov. 11:31; Isa. 49:23; Psalm 2:8.

2. THERE SHOULD BE CURSE WITHOUT REASON LIKEWISE THE OTHER SIDE
Jacob blessed Pharaoh, as we shall see in our coming lecture Gen. 14:18-20. The blessing comes to pass but Pharaoh has done something in order to bring the blessing to pass. Pro. 26:2; Prov. 11:24; Pro. 11:25.

Further Readings: Gen. 27:1-4; Isa. 1:19.

LESSON 355
THE PILGRIM’S ROAD SIGN

INTRODUCTION:
We must always remember that we are just pilgrims on this land, we are only passing through as we move towards home. In this study we want to study the Spiritual High-Way Code, may the Lord bless us as we study at His feet in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

1. SPIRITUAL HIGH-WAY CODE

Worldliness should be avoided because everything in the world is designed to side track us from our ultimate goal. Always stay in direct communication with your guide the Holy Spirit. Heb. 12:2; Ps. 119:11; Ps. 107:20; Exodus 33:14, refuel only at His “rest stops”. I Pet. 2:11-17; Ps. 39:12; I John 2:15-17; Matt. 4:8; Acts 4:31; I Kings 13:8.14; I Cor. 10:12; Matt. 14:30 Keep looking unto Jesus and study your spiritual high-way code.

Further Readings: II Tim. 3:16.

LESSON 356
WALK IN THE PERFECT WAY OF GOD

INTRODUCTION:
When God did not walk in according to our way, our decision is that it will be very good if there is quick solution, but the result of this will be problems and calamity. In this lesson we are going to the time of God. May the Lord bless us Mightily as we study at His feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. PROBLEMS OF NPATIENCE TO GOD’S TIME
Those types of children will be slaves. Children of illegal wife will do contrary to the will of God. God will choose another person very soon they will forsake God. God will choose another person very soon they will forsake God. Gen. 15:13-14; Gen. 21:10-12; I Sam. 13:12; I Sam. 13:8-13; I Sam. 8:5-7; Eccl. 3:1-8; Isa. 48:8; II Cor. 5:2; Rom. 13:11; Eph. 5:14-16.

LESSON 357
JOSEPH: A STUDY IN DIVINE FAITHFULNESS PART FOUR GENESIS 37:29-36

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw how the plans of the enemy against a child of God can only push the child of God along the road to the fulfillment of God’s promise. Today, we want to see how what happened to Joseph fulfilled the law of harvest in the life of Jacob. May God bless us richly as we study in Jesus name. Amen.

1. PART OF THE FATHFULNESS OF GOD IS DEMONSTRATED IN THE LAW OF HARVEST
The history of Jacob is full of deception, fraud and causing others sorrows Hos. 10;12. How the deceiver is deceived and he who caused others sorrow now had sorrow caused him, this is because the Lord who made the law of harvest is a faithful Lord. Gen. 37:29-36; Gen. 27:18-38; Gen. 30:25-43; Gal. 6:7; Job. 4:8; Hos. 8:7.

2. IT IS BECAUSE OF THE LAW OF HARVEST THAT RESTITUTON IS SO CRUCIAL
Salvation brings forgiveness of all previous sins Acts 7:57-59. However, it is restitution that uproots the evil trees planted in the time of sinful living thus preventing them from bringing forth evil fruits for harvesting. Paul’s case is a classical example that the law of harvest still holds true even after conversation. Acts 26:20; Acts 8:3; Acts 9:1-2; II Cor. 11:23-27; II Cor. 12:7-9.

Further Readings: I John 1:7; II Cor. 9:6.

The Lord was with Joseph in Egypt in Egypt because He led him there in the first place Ps. 1:1-3. Potiphar was blessed because the presence of a righteous man in his house focused the attention of God on his estate. Meanwhile, Joseph obtained favour and rapid promotion because he satisfied certain conditions. If you too satisfy the conditions of the Lord, He will surely promote you because He is the promoter. Ps. 37:24-25; Pro. 3:33; Ps. 5:12; Pro. 10:6; Pro. 28:20; Pro. 12:2; Ps. 75:6-7; Job. 17:9; II Chr. 26:3-5; II Chr. 31:20-21.

1. ADULTERY AND FORNICATION: THE DEVIL’S NO 1 WEAPONS
Joseph was tempted sexually, as it was then, so it is now Heb. 13:4. Satan know how much God hates adultery and fornication, that is why he uses them as his number one weapons against growing Christians. Today, he has many “brothers” and “sisters” who are nothing but agents of the devil himself around. Gen. 39:7-12; Exo. 20:14; I Thess. 4:3-7; Pro. 5:15-21; Pro. 5:3-5; Pro. 6:27-29; Pro. 6:32; Eph. 5:3; I Cor. 6:9, 15-20

1. ADULTERY IS A SIN AGAINST AT LEAST (3) THREE PARTIES: GOD YOURSELF AND YOUR NEIGHBOUR.

Joseph realized that adultery is primarily a sin against God I Cor. 6:19-20. That is, whey he said “No” to it. But adultery is more than that: it is also a sin against yourself apart from being a sin against your neighbour. No one ever benefits from adultery and fornication.

1. ADULTERERS AND FORNICATOR ARE DOUBLE KILLERS.
The devilish woman, like all adulterers, when she discovered that she had failed to get the soul of Joseph, she tried to get his body destroyed Pro. 6:23-26. 2. IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL OF GOD YOU MAY WEAR A FANCIFUL COAT; NOT SO IN HIS UNIVERSITY.
Joseph was once wearing a coat of many colours. But that was in his “primary” days.
I Sam. 22:1-2. by now he was in the “university” of God his dress was prison uniform that is God’s pattern. Ask Moses, David, Elijah and Others. Joseph stuck it out with God and prospered. You be like Joseph and you will prosper too. Exo. 2:10; Exo. 3:1; I Sam. 16:22-23; I Kings 17;1; I Kings 17:2-6; Acts 8:26-29; Pro. 16:7; Ps. 106:46.

To fulfil His purpose, God usually chooses someone Gen. 45:4-8; Gen. 37:3-4; Gen. 37:23-27; Gen. 39:1-4; Gen. 39:20-21; Rom. 8:37; Gen. 41:39-40; Gen. 39:7-9; I Sam. 2:30; I Sam. 13:13-14. The chosen one may have problems, but God will not forsake him. He will over-come in each and every trial and provided he does not offend God, he will reach the goal that God had set for him.

2. GOD CAN CHOOSE ANYONE, EVEN YOU
The chosen one does not have to be the eldest or youngest I Pet. 2:9. It could be anyone. It could be anyone. It could be you. And if it is you, His purpose for you is clear. I Sam. 2:26; I Sam. 16:11-12; Exo. 2:1-4; John 15:16; Exo. 19:5-6.

1. UNBELIEVER WORDS ARE KEPT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS
When the Israelities got to the land of Egypt God gave them the best land there Psalm 2:8. This is because, it is God who has everything, and it looks like it is in charge of sinners known. It shall be return to the righteous one day. What is truth in Israel of those days is still truth in Israel of nowadays in God.

6:32; Eph. 5:3; I Cor. 6:9, 15-20

2. KEEP YOURSELF PURE
Joseph refused to yield to the temptress Eph. 5:27. He refused to take the sugarcoated poison. Adultery and fornication are very potent poisons. Don’t take them. Keep yourself pure and unspotted. James 1:15; I Pet. 2:11; Matt. 5:22; Ps. 24:3-4; James 1:27

1. PRAYING-ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD
We are what we are by His grace, the only thing men can do without God is to commit sin, human beings are difficult to control, discerning Spirit is one of the gift of the Holy Spirit Matt. 7:7. Praying to be used by God gives us greater things than our request.

In the last part of this series, we learnt that adultery and fornication are the devil’s number one weapons against growing Christians. We also saw the need to keep yourself pure as the Lord commands. Today as we continue our study of Joseph, may God bless us richly in Jesus Name. Amen.

Gen. 39:7-12; I Cor. 3:16; I Cor. 6:15; I Cor. 6:18; Pro. 11:29; Luke 17:1-2; Matt. 19:19; II Cor. 11:2.

2. THERE IS A WAY OUT OF EVERY PROBLEM
God always provides a way out of every trial and temptation James 1:12. In the case of Joseph, the only way out was to flee when he was cornered by the enemy. There is a time for prayers and there is a time for action, too. I Cor. 10:13; I Cor. 6:18; II Tim. 2:22; Gen. 19:15-22; I Cor. 3:16-17; Pro. 22:14; Heb. 2:18

1. ADULTERERS AND FORNICATOR ARE DOUBLE KILLERS.
The devilish woman, like all adulterers, when she discovered that she had failed to get the soul of Joseph, she tried to get his body destroyed Pro. 6:23-26. Adulterers are automatic liars and double-killers. Stay away from them. And never you lie against your neighbour. Gen. 39:13-23; Pro. 23:26-28; Pro. 30:20; Pro. 26:28; I John 4:20-21; I John 4:8; John 17:3.

1. GOD’S TRAINING PROCESS CAN BE UNUSUAL AT TIMES
If you find yourself falsely accused or the motive of your actions is misunderstood, do not let that weigh you down Gen. 39:13-23; Pro. 18:13; Acts 5:41; Matt. 5:10-12; II Cor. 1:3-4. It is one of ways through which God prepares His vessels unto Honour.

16:7; Ps. 106:46.

1. SPIRITUAL GIFTS ARE BEST TRAINING IN CONFINEMENTS
The best place to train spiritual gifts is in a place of confinement, away from earthly distractions and among a congregation of two or three Matt. 25:23. if we are not prepared to start small, we will never amount to anything for God. Gen. 40; Zech. 4:8-10; Luke 16:12; II Kings 3: 11-12; II Kings 2:15; I Sam. 22:1-2; I Sam. 3:1-20.

2. TWO DREAMS, TWO INTERPRETATIONS
Two men had two dreams Rom. 14:12. The result of one’s dream was restoration, that of the other was dealt. To God every man is unique and is dealt with accordingly. Eze. 18:4; Luke 17:34-36; John 3:20; John 7:37-38.

We forget that His timing is different from ours. The chief butler forget Joseph for two full years, but God did not forget him. God will not forget you too. Just be patient.

2. JOSEPH, DREAMS AND DREAMERS
It was dreams that brought Joseph to Egypt and to prison. It looks as it is dreams that will get him out now Gen. 18:1-14; Luke 1:26-38; I Kings 17:8-16; II Kings 4:8-17; John 5:2-9; Mark 10:46-52; Acts 3:1-8; Acts 10:1-8.
