NEW STRUCTURE IN RCCG NIGERIA

In compliance with the National code on corporate governance 2015 for not-for-profit organizations (NGOs) and the need to promote good governance and best practices, the Redeemed Christian Church of God has announced slight restructuring in its operations.

It is no longer news that at the RCCG Annual Ministers Thanksgiving, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, announced his stepping-down as the Overseer of RCCG in Nigeria. ‎

This is sequel to the new legal requirements set up by the Financial Regulations Council, guiding all registered churches, mosques, CSOs. They now have a maximum period of twenty years to lead their organizations. In retirement, they are not permitted to hand over to their families.

RCCG NIGERIA is now to be headed by Pastor Joseph Obayemi, as Pastor Funsho Odesola will serve as the new Church Secretary while Pastor Joseph Adeyokunu, is the new Church Treasurer.‎‎

We would like to inform all members of RCCG to understand this new structure and go about their service to God and humanity in holiness and soul winning. Let us also educate people around us and not spread inaccurate information.

Pastor E.A Adeboye remains the General Overseer of RCCG Worldwide.

@Obioma Nwankwo, what sort of comparison at you doing? Don’t let the wrath of God fall on your uninformed mind, be careful to mix politics and religion. More grace and wisdom to papa Adeboye on this spiritual journey the lord has given to him and all schemers within and outside shall fall in Jesus name!Amen.

Any similarity between you and your father, when will he stop being your father? Even mad men have friends, why will you display your imbecility on the web? Get a life

Government laws can not and must not be allowed to dictate to the church, that is the prerogative of the Holy Spirit. Government can not and must not be allowed to determine the tenure of God’s servants, it is the prerogative of the Holy Spirit. And lastly, if God decides that a leader’s son or relative is the next in line, whoever God chooses, it is not the prerogative of any government or law. It is only God who has such right because it is His church. As Christians, Almighty God through Holy Spirit dictates to church and nobody else has such right or privilege.

Thank you so much for clarifying this new development. I heard something else from external source before now!
Praying for more anointing for Daddy G O and the new General overseer of RCCG- Nigeria in Jesus name.

I cannot imagine or fathom what I later heard that the guy (Not Real Pastor) that chairman this decision is a Zonal Pastor of the same Church! There is a devil in the Church now… God will punish all of them

This is Nigeria where people play politics with religion. Daddy G. O will not be invited guess in Nigeria program I guess, cos he’s now a worldwide G. O. More anointing and power both for Nigeria G. O and Daddy G. O

The Governance Code was suspended as soon as it was released in October 2016. I still wonder why we went ahead to implement.

So the government dictates who is permitted and who is not permitted to be handed the reins of a ministry. Is this not madness ?. Should this so called code not be focused on the corrupt, lazy, ghost worker ridden civil service ?. How can the so called code decide that a minister of the gospel or leader of a ministry only leads for 20 years? are the instigators of the code the new holy spirit of what ? No wonder the authors of the code were sacked and the code suspended… God is not mocked !!!

Carefully studied everything , well the law can actually make direct positive impact in some churches but the whole Alarm blow because everyone still want g.o nobody expect any change of such because GOD is using HIM mightily. But come to think of it, any organization that also deals with money directly or indirectly has to be guided by law. because everything is going fine under our genuine man of GOD doesn’t mean something wrong is not happening somewhere else that really needs intervention of laws to put things to order. I learnt one organization has not been audit for 40years that is absolutely wrong, Yes is God money at same time human being donated it , it must be properly managed at as same time human management. But if the enforcement is done to target one person GOD almighty has blessed daddy beyond arguments. GOD OF ELIJAH IS STILL GOD OF ELISHA

Humility in real men evoke jealous in some people but avails the humble every good thing. Daddy GO, God bless you and give you more grace to carry on in the years ahead.
To the new Nigerian GO, may double portion of the outgoing GO’s grace and humility rest upon you to pilot the affairs of the Church to the glory of God in Jesus name.

We are an adversary body to The government of this earth as representative of Heavenly government. They please leave this ELISHA of our time, that GOD has given to guide us in this in this Sinful world.

  10. Pastor John Stultz

I praise GOD, for the leading of the HOLY GHOST in leadership decisions. I will continue to pray for RCCG influence throughout the earth.

They should be nothing like Nigeria G O, welther in Nigeria here or abroad Adeboye should remain d G O. Cuz we can’t bring government law into God house is bad

  12. Jerome Adeyemi

There is no change of leadership in this Church, Baba Adeboye still remain the General Overseer World wide. The FRC who gave this Tenure Order has failed.

Baba is still in charge, this only relieves him of too much load on his head, The new G.O in charge of Nigeria will still be under baba’s control.

Don’t Mind the agent destruction sent against the church, they will never succeed in Jesus name.

There is need for restructuring in all pentecostal churches. If God wants to start with RCCG, why not. I believe there is no skeleton in the cupboard of the organization. There is biblical support for Levites to retire and still continue with service along with their younger Levites. As concerning finance, if government policy is to monitor charity organization it is welcome for accountability and transparency in this world and also before God. Judgement must start in the house of God.may the Almighty God preserve daddy G.O for our generation.
